Awesome Eco-Friendly I-phone case
The billionth I-phone was sold last year, in less than a decade! With that, cables and plastic phone accessories are being introduced. Ever wonder what happens to all the I-phone cases you go through with all the I-phone upgrades? It’s one more accessory that lands in the bin, that harms the planet.
We can avoid wasting by purchasing sustainable cases. There are a few on the market, some made of bamboo, some of recycled materials. Here’s one I recently acquired for myself and my tribe which I am very happy about called Pela Case.
They are made with starch-based bio polymer, recycled materials and flax straw waster for added strength. Flax waste is also shock absorbing. So you might even increase the life of your latest I-phone. In addition, their phone cases are 100% biodegradable and free from BPA, lead and other nasties.
- Reduce the amount of plastic waste created by consumer products
- Alleviate our dependency on non-renewable fossil fuels and oil-based plastics
- Educate people about plant-based, sustainable alternatives that are both functional and beautiful
- Build the kind of company our customers would be proud to rally behind
“In the end, we’re just human like everyone else and trying our best to preserve the planet for our children and beyond. We don’t claim to be perfect in our efforts but we are always pushing ourselves to believe in better, to be better and to do better every single day. “
With every purchase on Pela shop, they offer $3 towards a charity of your choice to organizations like World Wildlife Fund, Amnesty International, Unicef and more AND they are giving a 20% discount to my friends off all products! What’s not to like?
Here’s to a better future through conscious consumption!
