Meet Guy Roulier – naturopath, practitionar of natural healing
I’m honored to introduce you to Guy Roulier, practicing practitioner and author of natural health training book and videos, passionate about the defense of nature and health and creator of the site with evocative name, naturemania.
Guy started his career as a physiotherapist, first in Paris and then in Anjou, in Montjean sur Loire, where his family was from.
The premature death of his father suffering from liver cancer pushed him to seek complementary means to classical medicine to prevent and cure these diseases of civilization such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal disorders, early aging.
He first studied vital hygiene, dietetics and nutrition, the fundamental bases of health, in his opinion the first of the medicines. Quickly aware of the limits of his auxiliary discipline of medicine, on the advice of a friend country doctor, Dr. Robert Chataigner Guy left for England, to study osteopathy and naturopathy at the Croydon school became London School of osteopathy and naturopathy. He then went on to study Chinese traditional medicine, phyto and aromatherapy at the faculty of Paris and finally posturology .
At the same time, Guy actively participated in the recognition of osteopathy at the level of the European Parliament and in France as trade union leader and produced a significant quantified report on the positive socio-economic role of osteopaths. His encounter with the writer Martin Gray triggered his vocation to transmit through writing and practical training this new preventive concept of health now called sustainable health.
Guy’s first books have been distributed to hundreds of thousands of copies and translated into several languages. Some are exhausted, others still on sale in bookstores and on websites. In 2003, he created the website naturemania.com, an information site on natural and sustainable health and the environment, which today receives half a million visits a year.
Sustainable health is the future of health based on the adoption of a healthy lifestyle and the use of recognized natural methods and not a precarious and unstable state maintained artificially.
This innovative vision of health is at two levels:
At the collective level where it begins to be valued within companies and communities through better protection of the environment, working conditions in terms of pace and safety.
But this is not enough. It is still necessary that each of us take control of our health, because our way of life, our habits good or bad, guarantee our health or on the contrary endanger it and make the bed of serious diseases heart, cerebral vascular, diabetes, early aging and cancer.
Epigenetics, a new branch of molecular biology, encourages us in this sense by explaining that our behavior, our lifestyle, our environment, our diet and physical exercise are capable, through mechanisms sensitive to our individual history and our environment, to alter the expression of our genes and to help prevent or delay the onset of degenerative diseases and organic aging.
As Guy says, “My aim it to help you understand the subtle mechanisms of the body, the close relationships that connect you to your environment, learn to use yourself the best techniques of sustainable health, disseminate information and education for sustainable health. This is the mission I have set for the next 10 years.
To achieve this goal, I realized videos of fast trainings available on youtube which give you the essential elements to know on the subjects which interest you. These videos are supplemented by digital guides in PDF format which you can find on naturemania (in French) allowing you to understand and treat effectively, the backache, the stress, the aging, the osteoarthritis, the problems specifically feminine.
Knowing how to make use of alternative medicine such as osteopathy, posturology, aromatherapy and phytotherapy, nutrition, massage, physical and mental relaxation, ventral breathing, etc.
In short, I help you to learn how to naturally solve 80% of the problems of daily life, and to prepare for a serene future. This is the goal of my training in sustainable health.
