Flowers are a girls best friend (and boys too in fact). Truly, getting flowers gifted is always a winner for a smile and if needed, why not go out and gift a bunch of bloom to yourself. You deserve to celebrate yourself and simply take care of your self as you would a friend sometimes.
I use my weekend market haul for an excuse to pick up a bunch of wild flowers or pretty ones for my home and for myself.
The scent of essential oil will always uplift your mood even on dull days.

BAKING CLASSIC SPONGE CAKE TOGETHER
I use my ‘ancient’ family recipe. It’s easy and comforting to eat freshly baked, with ice cream or fresh fruit.
mix together the same weight of eggs (weigh them with the shell), butter, flour and sugar (although I put a tiny less sugar than the rest), 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder, add fresh vanilla seeds or vanilla sugar if you like (my son likes the lemon juice taste) and bake at 200C for 20-30′ depending on the oven.
